MemoQ Desktop Editor
Master the offline translation workflow. Learn how to leverage local resources and perform rigorous quality assurance before final delivery.
Create Local Project
The offline editor uses a translation grid similar to the online version. It automatically searches local TMs, LiveDocs, and term bases assigned to your local project.

The Translation Grid
Documents are laid out in a two-column table. The left column contains source segments, and you write translations in the right-hand cells.

Segment Status Panel
A small information panel displays the status of each segment. Status values are color-coded to indicate matches, confirmations, or progress.

Run QA Configuration
Run QA to detect and fix translation bugs quickly. Ensure all necessary options are checked in Operations > Run QA settings.

QA Options
Verification includes tag checks, consistency, and terminology. These settings are crucial for maintaining industrial-grade quality.

Delivery Requirements
Deliver final bilingual files and a QA report showing zero errors. False positives must be marked as 'ignored' in the final report.
